TAG Winners

Ok. So it's almost been a week, and I've decided to call it quits on the tag game. I've come to the conclusion that not too many people read my blog. I'm sure that there are more people that don't leave comments, but I LOVE comments. Sad, isn't it? :) I feel really bad because a couple more people commented, but they didn't follow the rules. SO.....only 2 people won, not 3. I would have happily had 3 winners, but it is what it is. I'm not a "rules are made to be broken" type of person. :) Here are the winners: Heather N. and Katy R.

Thanks for playing guys. And, to those of you who forgot to post the TAG, I seriously will give the next person who posts it something. I would LOVE to give 3 people something, so snap to it!

In other news, they re-drilled our well today. We're hoping our water will not have "issues" any more. The contractor and his brother were here until 9:30 tonight making sure we had water. I thought that was pretty awesome. I was so happy when we could flush toilets again. That sounds gross, I know, but seriously something I take for granted. We hardly drank anything all day so that it would be used less. :) One quick little story... While the contractor(J.T.) and his brother were working on the well, J.T. came and asked if I could come out for a second. It was just after 9 p.m. So I walked outside, and he was laughing saying "Oh, shoot. He's not there anymore. Easton was just standing in the window waving at us." (He was supposed to be sleeping.) I thought it was so funny! What a little fart! Keep in mind, the blinds were down and everything. And he couldn't just look out the window, he had to stand in it! So I put him back to bed, but he got in the window one more time, so then he got in trouble. Oh, the joys of little boys!!

TAG! (Again)

O.K. people. Either nobody reads my blog or many people don't want to make a craft for others, which is totally fine. However, in my opinion, a homemade gift can be anything from crafts to something edible, and I KNOW everyone can make something in the kitchen whether it be dinner, baked goods, etc. I am starting over to see if anyone does actually look at my blog. SO, get busy and leave comments!!!!! You have to post this on your blog to be eligible (not this first part). I will be checking!! Read below......

So, I got this from a friend. The first 3 people to leave a comment on this will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift. Let's see who looks at my blog!

P.S. The comments will remain hidden until I have 3 winners so you don't know if you have won or not. :)

Busy, Busy, Busy!

So the last couple of weeks have been SO busy, but SO fun. I was able to go watch my nieces and nephews play ball and see my brother, "Rah." After that we had Carey's parents come stay with us for a weekend, which was a lot of fun too. Then, a few days after that Carey had some cousins come stay with us so they could attend a wedding, and others come visit so they could all see each other. Long story short, lots of visitors and lots of fun.

Allie gets kicked out of her room and sleeps on Easton's floor whenever someone stays with us, so the picture of her shows her camping out. While all of this was going on, I went in to check on Easton one night, and this is how I found him. Keep in mind he went to bed hat free. He's done it a couple of times now, and I don't know why he does it, but it's pretty cute.

Also, when Carey's parents were here it snowed pretty good. We've obviously had snow throughout the winter, but this was the first good packing snow. Allie has been dying to make a snowman like she has done with her Grammy so she finally got to. Here is the final product!!

Lastly, tonight I was putting the kids to bed and Allie was being so sweet. She asked if she could sing Easton a song before she went to her bed so I let her. She asked him, "Do you want me to sing BABY MINE or I AM A CHILD OF GOD?" (Keep in mind that is what is sung to her by me and Carey respectively.) He said BABY MINE. So she starts singing so sweet and gets to this one part and sings, "Rest your head close to my toes...." I tried so hard not to laugh, but it still slipped out. Just the visual made me laugh. Anyway, for the correct version it should be playing on my playlist.
